|
A one day workshop
Mindfulness is a state of calm reached by learning how to manage your awareness of the present moment while accepting your current state of emotions and bodily sensations. Stress management, clarity of thought, better health – these are some of the benefits research has found in the practice of mindfulness. This program will introduce you to the fundamentals of mindfulness for adults and children and then build on this understanding to focus on the strategies required to teach them. Techniques for children with ADHD will also be discussed. P-12. Content:

A popular PD
for your Student Free Day. WHAT PARTICIPANTS
HAVE SAID...
Just a quick note to let you know how much I gained from yesterday. If I go to a PD and come away with one new thing to enhance either myself or my teaching practices, I think that I have done well. Yesterday exceeded my expectations by miles. I have got so many things that I can use with my kids - both my own and the students that I teach - that I really don't know where to start. What I do know, is that the road that I have been heading down, has been affirmed by your PD.
Thank you so much. Regards, Jenny Slusher, Emerson School |
