Kate Cooper, Psychologist & Director
BA, Dip Ed, Dip Ed Psych, M Learning Disabilities, MAPS With a background of over 25 years of experience as a psychologist Kate specialises in training that helps people tackle the complex challenges to their physical and psychological health. She has worked as a mediator, counsellor, trauma manager, facilitator and public speaker across the education, corporate and not for profit sectors such as beyondblue.
Workshops in areas such as mindfulness, anxiety, depression, sleeping better, stress management, neuroscience and resilience have been engaging and filled with ideas participants can immediately apply to their work and to their own life. As a professional communicator, she is passionate about maximising benefits to participants and ensuring they experience an optimum learning environment in all of her professional development workshops. Her aim is to make professional development learning both enjoyable and memorable. Kate has trained public speakers and was an active member of Toastmasters International for many years, representing Victoria and speaking in the US. Clients Kate has trained in well being, resilience and self-care include Telstra staff and executives, Australian Insurance Group (AIG), Supreme Court, Optus, Westpac. Kate is a member of the Victorian Psychologists Registration Board and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. Nicki Lefkovits, Psychologist BA(Hons), M Psych, MAPS Nicki has been a registered Psychologist for 24 years. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults in clinical, corporate, hospital and school settings. Nicki owned and ran a clinical private practice for ten years. She has broad experience in anxiety, depression, self esteem, relationships, parenting, social skills training, bullying, eating disorders, substance abuse, grief, trauma, and wellness. She has experience in forensic psychology, entailing the assessment and treatment of victims and offenders of crime, in addition to the provision of court reports and expert evidence in all court jurisdictions.
Nicki is an enthusiastic presenter and workshop facilitator. She works with both small and large groups across a wide range of professions and topics. Examples include body image, self esteem, eating disorders, stress management, and leadership. She has worked extensively with school staff, parents, students and in corporate settings. Nicki has advised company boards, written published articles and presented on radio and television. She is also Chair of the Wesley College Foundation which raises funds for buildings and scholarships. Nicki is passionate about supporting people to develop their wellbeing, mental health, personal and professional skills. |
